# Cancellation Policy – ZOFITO Community Run
### 1. Cancellation by Participants
Participants who wish to cancel their registration should contact the organizer through the official contact number and provide their booking reference.
Participant-initiated cancellations are generally not eligible for a refund, except where the refund policy, applicable law, or the organizer's decision provides otherwise.
### 2. Cancellation by the Organizer
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event when necessary due to safety concerns, insufficient permissions, venue restrictions, severe weather, or other circumstances that prevent the event from being conducted responsibly.
If the event is cancelled, registered participants will be notified using the contact information supplied during registration. Any refund or alternative arrangement will be communicated separately.
### 3. Postponement or Schedule Changes
The organizer may reschedule the event or change its route or venue when necessary. Participants should check official communications for the latest event information.
The treatment of existing registrations and any applicable refund options will be communicated when the change is announced.
### 4. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend the event, late arrival, or leaving before completion does not automatically entitle a participant to a refund.
### 5. Booking Corrections
Requests to correct a participant's name, mobile number, T-shirt size, or other booking information should be made as early as possible. Corrections are subject to verification and availability and may not be possible after event preparations have been finalized.

Refunds
# Refund Policy – ZOFITO Community Run
The registration fee for the ZOFITO Community Run is ₹249 per participant.
### 1. Participant-Initiated Cancellations
Registration fees are generally non-refundable if a participant voluntarily cancels their registration, is unable to attend, arrives late, or chooses not to participate.
Participants should contact the organizer as early as possible if they cannot attend.
### 2. Duplicate or Failed Payments
If a participant is charged more than once for the same registration, the duplicate payment will be reviewed and refunded after verification.
If a payment is debited from the participant's account but the booking is not confirmed, the participant should contact the organizer with the payment reference or transaction ID. Verified unsuccessful bookings will be handled through the payment provider's applicable refund or reversal process.
### 3. Event Cancellation by the Organizer
If the organizer cancels the event entirely, registered participants will be informed of the applicable refund or alternative arrangements. Where a refund is offered or required, it will be processed to the original payment method, subject to verification and applicable requirements.
### 4. Postponement or Rescheduling
If the event is postponed or rescheduled, the organizer will communicate the revised arrangements. Refund eligibility, if any, will be communicated to registered participants based on the circumstances and applicable requirements.
### 5. Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances
If weather conditions, safety concerns, government instructions, venue restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances affect the event, the organizer may modify, postpone, or cancel it. Refund arrangements will be communicated based on the final decision and applicable requirements.
### 6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 7–10 business days. The time taken for the amount to appear in the participant's account may depend on the bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment service provider.
